My artistic production comes from a search for meaning in life. This meaning I sought in other areas, as religion for example, but it was in art that I found signification and affirmation as a way to overcome the absurdity of life.
As a portrait of my own conflicts as a peripheral woman in a patriarchal society, I represent in my work female figures with expressions and symbols that attempt to articulate these thoughts. From this emerge also these noises on the paintings and the choice for cold colors.
About the technic, I use oil on canvas that I prepare myself from 100% cotton canvas. I prefer to use AA formats and frame them with a glass protection.
